Scapa 2582 is a tough, waterproof and weather resistant black rubber sheet based on polyisobutylene (PIB).
Use case
- For use as a waterproof covering for thermal insulation on pipework and ventilation trunking
Key features
- A tough rubber sheeting with excellent resistance to abrasion and mechanical wear
- Low water vapour permeability protects against moisture ingress
- Ageing resistant for up to 20 years if applied correctly
- PIB sheeting can be installed using solvent welding. No special adhesives are required
- The sheeting is dusted with talc to ensure easy unwind
- Service temperature: -30°C to +80°C
All options are 15m in length, 1m in width and are 0.8mm thick.
